Iced chai is the latest thing I can’t seem to live without. It’s a little too pricy to order out everyday (they’re usually about $4 a cup), plus I don’t like to waste plastic. Most places make a sugary version that can hardly be called tea. Hence, the best thing to do is make my own. (P.S. If you are in Philadelphia and in the mood for the best chai ever, stop by Good Karma Cafe on 22nd and Pine. They even recycle the cups.)
I found this recipe online, and bought some of the spices at a shop in Reading Terminal. It turned out pretty good, but I like mine super spicy so I plan to tweak it a little bit next time.
